Somewhere in between the popularity of Hotmail Messenger and Whatsapp, there was the era of Blackberry Messenger (BBM). Blackberry’s were the phones to have and BBM was the messenger service everyone wanted to be on. So how did this device rise to such prominence so quickly and equally, how did the empire it built come crashing down so spectacularly?
