Ella McCay is a comedy/drama. written and directed by James L Brooks (one of the creators of The Simpsons) and stars Emma Mackey as the title character, Ella, an idealistic and ambitious young politician running for governor.

While she has the tenacity to handle all the twists and turns in politics, she doesn’t quite have a handle on family drama. Jamie Lee Curtis stars as her aunt, Woody Harrelson as her long-lost father, alongside an entertaining supporting cast.
