The Summer Movie season is heating up, and June 2025 is all the proof you need. Three established franchises attempt to expand their reach, with Dreamworks ‘How to Train Your Dragon’ jumping from the animation to the big screen with a live action version, starring Gerard Butler and M3GAN, the killer doll, attempts to pull a Terminator 2 and become the good guy in M3GAN 2.0. And the world of John Wick gets its first big screen expansion with Ana de Armas playing a brand new assassin, Eve, taking on all enemies in ‘Ballerina’.
