Dear Evan Hansen is a sensational Broadway play now adapted for the big screen. Coming to cinemas this September, it tells the story of an anxious, isolated teenager looking for his place and to belong. It brings the Tony, Grammy and Emmy winning star of the stage show Ben Platt to the screen to reprise his role. It’s directed by acclaimed film maker Stephen Chbosky (The Perks of Being A Wallflower, Wonder) and co-starring Amy Adams and Julianne Moore, this looks like it’s going to be one to watch with a box of tissues when it’s released later this year
