Zola Trailer – New best friends take a ridiculously riotous road trip

Zola

In ‘Zola’, murder, mayhem, drugs and stripping reign supreme when two friends take the ultimate weekend ‘Ho’ trip to Florida

This is certainly one of those occasions when the truth is stranger than fiction. Zola is a comedy drama which premiered to rave reviews at Sundance 2020. It’s finally getting a cinematic release this June

Zola is written and directed by Janicza Bravo and is based on a series of outrageous tweets by A’Ziah King ‘Zola’ which went viral. The tweets were so outlandish they were too good to not share on the big screen. It tells the story of a waitress named Zola meeting a customer named Stefani who convinces her to come along on a wild glamorous weekend of ‘ho-ism’ to Florida which turns into a complete nightmare. So loony, you couldn’t make it up. Will these new besties survive each other? Find out on June 30th
